Diana and Richard are looking forward to welcoming existing and new customers to our caring and friendly boarding kennels

This is a photo of one of our guests waiting to go in, if only he could talk! He would be saying “Come on hurry up, I want my dinner”
In the morning we go down to the kennel and let all of the dogs go down the garden. We have large pens and we like to match the dogs up with playmates so they have company. Whilst they are down the garden we clean their kennels make their beds tidy, give them fresh water and give them their breakfast. We also hide a treat in their bed for them, we do this every time they go down the garden as it makes them happy to go back into their kennels and they look forward to getting their treats. Some dogs have allergies just like people do and so we have special treats for these dogs, the ingredients for these treats are Salmon and Potato. When they have eaten their breakfast and have had time for their food to go down we let them out to play again. Whilst they are outside we can do other jobs such as the laundry and so on. Once again we pop a treat in all of the kennels and get the dogs in. Then it’s time for us to go up to the house for our breakfast at about 11o’clock. We have a very late breakfast! Before we leave the kennel we put the radio on because we find it keeps the dogs happy to have some music on.
Then it’s back down to the kennel at 1 o’clock for the lunchtime let out. In the summer time this is a quick let out because it is usually very hot and we don’t want the dogs to get stressed. Once again we pop a treat in their beds and check they have plenty of water.
Then at 4 o’clock we do it all again, this time giving them their supper.
We make sure all of our dogs have at least two good exercise sessions a day, if they are old or just don’t want to play we take them for a nice walk. Some of them we take on the trails on our property off leash and they love it. Others we take to a large off leash area that is fenced off, to play.
Then we have all the other jobs to do such as cutting the grass in the summer and keeping the property looking nice and tidy. In the winter we have to keep the drive way clear and keep a walkway clear for the dogs, also all the pens have to be cleared of snow. Then we have the BEST job of keeping a kennel, I wonder if you can guess what it is !!! Well after every let out, we have to pick up the P – - p. Did you guess what it is? It’s very important that we pick it up to keep our kennel clean and safe for our doggie visitors.
We also have to give the dogs any medication they may need and look after their grooming. Some dogs like Bull Dogs and Pugs even need their faces wiped with a face cloth to keep their wrinkles clean, if you don’t do this they can get very sore in the creases.
Anyway I do hope that I have helped you and that I have answered all your questions.
